Research Update at the Royal Institution

We were delighted to welcome donors, researchers, clinicians, partners and EB families to our Research the Cure Update Evening in London earlier this month.

Thank you to our wonderful speakers:

• Prof John McGrath on the unmet needs in EB and the treatments newly available or in development
• Prof Jemima Mellerio on an exciting upcoming clinical trial of decorin in dystrophic EB
• Dr Matthias Titeux on exon skipping and EB Graft, both of which we hope will go to clinical trial this year or early next
• Dr Anna Martinez and Prof Mark Lowdell on the Mission EB clinical trial and next steps for CORDStrom and patients.

In the beautiful and historical setting of the Royal Institution, we came together to discuss progress in EB research and the momentum towards developing more effective treatentns and what it will take to cure the condition.

With expertise, commitment, enthusiasm and support we will continue to fund research to end EB.
