Jul 30 2024 Jason Isaacs joins Cure EB as patron
We are excited to announce that Jason Isaacs has joined the Cure EB family as our newest Patron.
Jason, who many of you may recognise from his portrayal of Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter films or, most recently, from ITV’s drama Archie about the life of Cary Grant (… although, as the incredible acting chameleon that he is, perhaps you didn’t recognise him!) has known Sohana and been supportive of Cure EB for many years, and we are honoured that he has agreed to this new role for us.
I've only ever seen Sohana spread joy and love and mischief in her wake; never seen a trace of self-pity, never any indication of her daily challenge. Her zest for life and the sound of her laughter are humbling and inspiring things.
Jason has had numerous and varied roles in film, tv and on stage in Britain and the US, from BBC Four’s The Curse of Steptoe and the Netflix series The OA, to Angels in America parts 1 and 2 for the Royal National Theatre and The Patriot, opposite Mel Gibson and Heath Ledger, and has won or been nominated for a Golden Globe, International Emmy, BAFTA, Critics Choice, Peabody, Satellite and many others.
Thank you very much Jason, it’s great to have you on board!
