Organise an event

There are lots of ways to raise vital funds for EB research.

You could run a marathon (or maybe less far!), cycle, walk, climb – any sponsored event could help raise awareness and generate much needed funds.

If that all sounds a bit energetic, how about hosting your own Butterfly Brunch Club? You can raise money by eating delicious food with your friends – ideal!

Maybe you can think of an even better idea for fundraising? Try looking at some of our previous events for inspiration.

Amazing Loel gave up chocolate for a whole year and raised over £1800 through sponsorship. Fantastic work Loel – not sure if we could do the same!

Binky Book Reading & Sales

St Mark’s Nursery helped raise £260 by arranging a reading of Binky’s Time To Fly, and selling copies afterwards. 100% of the hardback sales go to Cure EB, so arrange yours now or order some in our shop!

London Marathon

Sohana’s dad James ran the Virgin London Marathon in 2017- and survived to tell the tale! We often have a few charity places for the London Marathon, so do contact us if you are interested in taking on the challenge.

Birthday donations

Some of our wonderful supporters ask for donations to Cure EB in lieu of birthday presents, often via Facebook or Just Giving. If you feel that you already have more than enough ‘stuff’, perhaps you could ask your loved ones to donate on your behalf!
