Darcy’s story, by her mum Clara

Darcy lives with severe Recessive Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa (RDEB), a rare genetic condition that causes extremely fragile skin, constant pain, and life long medical care.

Darcy is fearless, funny, adventurous, and a complete little daredevil. She loves life and tries to live it as fully as possible, despite EB making every single day a fight no child should ever have to face.

As EB progresses, we continue to watch it take more from her like her mobility, her independence, and the simple freedoms most children take for granted. Yet through it all, she continues to smile, laugh, and show incredible strength.
