Family festival for all ages!

We are heading back to Highgate School for an even bigger and better, family-focused festival this summer. Join us for a brilliant afternoon of activities for all ages including crafts, games and live music, with food trucks, coffee, cakes, cocktails and more.

And for those under 16 you can also book into one of our additional workshops:

Silly Science: The Gentle Skin Experiment

A hands-on children’s science workshop exploring how healthy skin holds together and how EB skin is different. For ages 8-16.

Butterfly Dreamcatchers: Craft Activity

Make your own ‘Wings of Hope’ in this easy, playful creative session. For ages 5-12.

Film Fun: Make A Music Video

Feel like a Hollywood A-lister as you make your own pop promo video, and watch the finished product at your premiere screening! For ages 10-16.

Terms & Conditions

1. General Admission

  • This General Admission ticket grants entry to the Brave Wings Festival hosted by Cure EB on Sunday 28 June 2026 at the Mills Centre, Highgate School.
  • Entry is permitted only with a valid General Admission ticket. All attendees, including children, must have a ticket.
  • These terms and conditions apply to all attendees, volunteers and staff.
  • A General Admission ticket grants the holder admission to the event and access to a range of age-appropriate activities for children as well as access to live music, food trucks and ice cream vendors.
  • In addition, there may be other activities which incur an additional charge.  These additional activities can be booked either in advance as per the event flyer or, subject to availability, on arrival.  These additional activities may be subject to separate age restrictions.  For example, there will be a Film School for children aged between 10 and 16 years at an additional cost of £7.50 per child.
  • Please note that animals (other than assistance and guide dogs) are not permitted on site.

2. Children’s Activities

  • Adult supervision is required for all children under the age of 16. Each accompanying adult must be at least 21 years old and may not supervise more than 5 children unless otherwise agreed with the organisers.
  • Each accompanying adult is responsible for the supervision and safety of their child/children at all times during the event.
  • Participation in children’s activities is at attendees’ own risk. While every effort is made to ensure safety, Cure EB is not liable for minor injuries or accidents.
  • The children’s activities will be run by trained staff and/or volunteers and/or third-party event organisers who have undergone appropriate safeguarding training and Enhanced DBS checks where legally required.

3. Safeguarding and Welfare

  • Cure EB is committed to upholding the highest standards of child protection in line with UK legislation. All staff and volunteers working directly with children have received safeguarding training in line with Cure EB’s Safeguarding Policy.
  • The event will have a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) present at all times. If you have any safeguarding concerns during the event, please report them immediately to a member of staff who will alert the DSL.

4. Health and Safety

  • Cure EB is committed to ensuring a safe environment for all participants, especially children. All activities will be risk-assessed and staffed by trained personnel or volunteers. Music will be monitored and its volume kept to safe levels.
  • Attendees agree to follow all health and safety guidance displayed throughout the venue and given by event staff.
  • Food will be available to purchase and information on ingredients will be available and on display.  Accompanying adults are responsible for checking this information If their child or children has or have allergies or medical conditions.
  • In the event of an emergency, the organisers reserve the right to contact medical services and administer any necessary first aid.

5. Behaviour and Conduct

  • This is a family-friendly event intended to be accessible to all children. Aggressive, disruptive or inappropriate behaviour will result in removal from the venue.
  • No glass, alcohol or dangerous items may be brought on site.

6. Photography and Media

  • By purchasing a ticket, you consent to photography and videography which may be used for promotional purposes by Cure EB.
  • If you do not wish for you or your child to be photographed, please inform event staff upon arrival.

7. Tickets, Refunds and Cancellations

  • All ticket sales are final. No refunds will be issued unless the event is cancelled by Cure EB.
  • In the event of cancellation or postponement, attendees will be notified by email.
  • Tickets are non-transferable unless approved by Cure EB.

8. Liability

  • Cure EB, its staff and volunteers accept no responsibility for loss, damage or theft of personal belongings.
  • Attendance is at attendees’ own risk. While reasonable steps have been taken to ensure a safe and secure environment, Cure EB shall not be held responsible for any injury or loss unless caused by proven negligence.

By purchasing a ticket and attending this event, each attendee agrees to comply with these terms and conditions and our Safeguarding Policy.
