She is on the executive committees of the British Association of Dermatologists\, the British Society of Paediatric and Adolescent Dermatology\, and the International Society of Pediatric Dermatology. She is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css_animation=”” row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”full_width” angled_section=”no” text_align=”left” background_image_as_pattern=”without_pattern”][vc_column width=”1/5″][vc_column_text] \n[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”4/5″][vc_column_text]Blister fluid collection and gene editing – Dr Joanna Jacków-Malinowska & Aidin Kazemizadeh \nJoanna is a molecular dermatology researcher and Senior Lecturer at the St John’s Institute of Dermatology\, King’s College London\, where she leads a research programme focused on developing next-generation therapies for genetic skin diseases and skin cancer. Her research centres on translational genome editing and advanced delivery technologies\, including lipid nanoparticles\, to develop precision treatments for rare inherited skin disorders such as EB. \nAidin is a final-year PhD researcher at King’s College London under the supervision of Dr Joanna Jackow-Malinówska and Prof John McGrath. His research\, funded by the British Skin Foundation and Cure EB\, focuses on developing base and prime editing strategies to correct pathogenic variants that cause dystrophic EB.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css_animation=”” row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”full_width” angled_section=”no” text_align=”left” background_image_as_pattern=”without_pattern”][vc_column width=”1/5″][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”4/5″][vc_column_text]EB hand therapy – Mr Ricardo Tejero-Trujeque & Andrea Cudazzo \nRicardo is a Specialty Doctor in Plastic\, Reconstructive and Hand Surgery at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital\, where he also leads the plastic surgical care of patients with EB. He is a faculty member on national and international training courses\, including EB courses at GOSH and Guy’s and St Thomas’. \nAndrea is an occupational therapist with over a decade specialising in hand therapy.
